The Brookdale Community College Foundation will host the 41st Annual Education Open Golf Outing on Thursday, September 24, 2020at Eagle Oaks Golf & Country Club in Farmingdale, NJ. Proceeds will benefit the “Invest in Student Success” Scholarship fund.
“With these scholarships and grants, many students earn their associate’s degrees at Brookdale, transfer to four-year institutions to achieve their undergraduate degrees or start their careers after completing a certificate program at Brookdale,” said Timothy Zeiss, executive director of the Foundation. “Our supporters, donors and sponsors are helping hundreds of students to achieve their academic and professional goals.”
The all-day outing includes a deli lunch and a post-play BBQ Buffet on the Outdoor Patio & 19th Hole with an open bar. Kim Guadagno, President and CEO of Fulfill (formerly known as the Foodbank of Monmouth & Ocean), will be honored at the awards BBG Buffet for her leadership during the COVID-19 pandemic and for the partnership between Fulfill’s Mobile Food pantry and Brookdale’s Helping Hands lounge. Golfers and attendees are asked to bring non-perishable food to help stock Fulfill’s pantry.

Back by popular demand, the Brookdale Foundation is staging a Helicopter Golf Ball Drop raffle before the awards dinner. Up to 500 golf balls/tickets will be sold. The person with the golf ball landing in the hole or closest to the pin wins half of the proceeds. Winner need not be present.
